Ramona Rhea Brasher, 91, of Franklin, TN Formerly of Marion, KY, passed away on Thursday July 2, 2026, in Franklin, TN.
Ramona was born in Dycusburg, KY to Reba Kinnis Henry and Raymond Henry on Feb. 8, 1935. She graduated from Crittenden County High School in 1953, where she was Basketball Homecoming Queen and sang in the school choir. She married Don Brasher on November 13, 1954, at Dycusburg Methodist Church. She worked as a homemaker, Sunday school teacher and guitar teacher. Ramona was involved in the First Methodist Church of Marion, KY and Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Franklin, TN.
Ramona is preceded in death by her husband, Don Brasher, of 66 years and Grandson, George Stafford. Brothers: Kenneth, Louie, Gerald, Raymond, and Jerry Henry and a sister, Mary Jane Watson.
Ramona is survived by children: Jeff (Sharon) Brasher and Jill Reynolds. Beloved sister Shirley (Kenneth) Winters and sister-in-love Brenda Henry. Brother-in-law Robert (Buddy) Watson. Grandchildren: Shelly (Sam) Brasher Cross, Grant (Hannah) Brasher, and Nicholas Stafford. Great-Grandchildren: Sadie Rae and Scarlett Cross, Madelyn and Davis Brasher. Many nieces and nephews whom Ramona loved dearly and shared many good times with. Lastly, but not least, the lovely and caring friends of Windsor Park who were a blessing and joy to Ramona.
A celebration of a life well lived and loved by so many will be at a time to be determined in September at Dycusburg, KY cemetery, when the weather is cool, Ramona did not like the heat!
