John McKeon was born in Flint, MI to Frank and Jean McKeon on December 15, 1956. He married Colleen Ring, the love of his life on July 21, 1979, in Otisville, MI. He began his career with General Motors and worked for Buick, Pontiac, Saturn, and finally retired from GM after 41 dutiful years, including many working as a UAW Representative.
John was a true outdoorsman who loved nature and always took time to hunt and fish at every opportunity. He found great joy in the woods or on the water, with a fishing rod in hand or tracking deer through the early morning fog. Hunting and fishing weren’t just hobbies; they were a way of life and a source of peace. He was an accomplished marksman and game chef, who won many awards for his accomplishments.
John is preceded in death by his parents Frank & Jean McKeon and his brother Francis (Bub) McKeon.

His surviving siblings are his sister Sharon McKeon, his brothers Dan, Bill and James McKeon, and his best friend and brother, Duane St. John (Janie).
John’s love for his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews and friends was unconditional. He would always be there to help, teach you something new, give you a good laugh, and fix anything that was broken!
