John Francis Fusillo

John Fusillo, age 85, passed away peacefully in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 23, 2026, following a brief illness. He had made his home in Florida with his longtime life partner, Patricia Rapasadi, until her passing.

John was born on June 17, 1941, in Canastota, New York, to Dominick and Daisy Fusillo. He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Andrew “Tom” Fusillo, James Fusillo, and Judith Lee; his wife of 36 years, Darlene Fusillo; his son, Victor Fusillo; and his life partner of 20 years, Patricia Rapasadi. 

He is survived by his daughter, AnnaMarie Donaldson, and her husband, Vince; his granddaughter, Ashley Emmons, and her husband, James; his great-grandson, William James; his brother, Michael Fusillo, and his wife, Linda; and many extended family members and dear friends.

John will be remembered for his warm, fun-loving spirit and his deep devotion to his large Italian family. He found joy in cooking and gathering with loved ones in the kitchen. An avid vegetable gardener, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors, and sharing his garden with family and friends.

The family will host a memorial service in Canastota, New York. Details will be shared once arrangements are finalized.
