Isla Wren Johnston

It’s with heavy hearts and profound sadness, we remember Isla Wren Johnston, who passed away on October 26, 2026, at the age of 10.

Isla’s time on this earth was far too short, but the light she radiated and the joy her life brought will remain. Her life was a gift, her presence deeply treasured and the impact she made on those around her will not be forgotten.

The loss of a child is a heartbreak beyond words. It leaves a space that cannot be filled and questions that may never have answers. In the midst of such unimaginable sorrow, may those who knew Isla find comfort in the moments they shared and the love that will forever connect them.

Isla is survived by her parents, Finn and Kat Johnston, her brother, Reuben, and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

The significance of a life is not measured by its length, but by the love it leaves behind. Isla impacted all who met her, and she will forever be remembered as a precious daughter and sister whose life mattered more than words could ever express.

The family warmly invites those that knew Isla to join them as they remember, celebrate and give thanks for Isla on November 12 at 5:30 PM at Thompson Station Church, 2604 Thompson Station Road East, Thompson Station, TN 37179.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Isla’s memory to Art Helps Cancer or Dreams & Wishes TN, two organizations close to their hearts.
