Austin Brady McCabe, 38, of Summertown, TN, found PEACE on July 28, 2026, when he moved into his heavenly home.
Austin was born in Nashville, TN to Jayne White and Mike McCabe on Oct 5, 1987. He went to school in Hickman County. He could tell you anything about music, movies and history. He enjoyed fishing, hunting for arrowheads, cooking, and watching American Pickers on TV. He liked watching the hummingbirds, even naming one Pee Wee Humming when he was young. He was a self-taught drummer from an early age. He went on stage with his dad by 5 yrs old with a plastic guitar and microphone. He liked to sing Angel Band in church. No doubt he has joined a real angel band now.
Austin is preceded in death by Grandparents John & Betty White, Gilbert Newell, and Ed McCabe. Stepfather Robert Hornburger and Cousin and best friend Corey Ford. Austin is survived by his wonderful children Andrew McCabe (Carrie) and Aubrey Rose McCabe. Sisters Christy Poteete (James) and Rosie McCabe (Jason). Mother Jayne White and Father Mike McCabe. Grandson River McCabe, nicknamed Boss Baby by his grandfather Audi Mac. Grandmothers Sarah Newell, Jean Brady and Betty McCabe. Aunts and Uncles Phyllis Ford, David White, Edward (Bubba) & Cindy McCabe. Special Niece and Nephew Amelia and Zachary Lampley. Cousins Allison Fischer, Kyle McCabe and J.T. White, and numerous friends. Austin was forever grateful for Ashley Phillips and Lizz Thurber for giving him amazing children.
A celebration to honor Austin’s life will take place at a later date.
